Drainage work was also completed following repaving of the circles, primarily in Alder Crescent, with additional remediation carried out in Balsam and Hemlock crescents.
Public Works also completed sidewalk repairs around the community, including work at Mile Zero, Collison Avenue and other locations. The report said the repairs were completed with no direct cost to the Village.
At the Fitness Room and Fire Hall, aging propane systems were replaced with heat pumps. Staff said the upgrades are expected to reduce operating costs and improve performance compared with the recently replaced heat pumps at the Village Office.
The summer work also included new tee pads at the disc golf course and other maintenance and infrastructure improvements across the community.
